Professional Valuer registered with the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession (Reg no. 581) with over forty years valuations experience. Appointed as a Fellow of the SA Institute of Valuers (SAIV) in 2009. Appointed by the Master of the High Court as an appraiser since 1985. Valuation experience includes expropriation and sale of land negotiations on behalf of the then City of Cape Town, insurance valuations, municipal valuations nationally on behalf of various municipalities as well as objections and appeals on behalf of property owners, valuation of moveable assets such as motor vehicles, plant and machinery and marine (boats). Extensive experience as an “expert witness” for litigious matters, as an appraiser for insolvent/deceased estates as well as for a wide variety of commercial/investment purposes.

Member of the SA Institute of Valuers since 2011 and appointed by the Master of the High Court as an appraiser for Cape Town in 2014. Admitted to the Estate Agency Affairs Board as a “full status agent” in 2010. Valuation experience includes extensive residential valuations for market value, rental determination, insurance value purposes, appraisals of deceased estates, market value and rental determination of commercial properties as well as market value of land earmarked for development.
