Letting residential property in Cape Town, one of Steer & Co's primary service offerings, has changed fairly significantly over the last few months. As regulations have changed, we have needed to adapt, sometimes within a few days, in order to remain compliant and to assist in the fight against the spread of COVID-19, while still servicing our owners' and tenants' needs.
Since 1 June, face-to-face viewings have been permitted and we immediately began hosting physical viewings of properties available to let as many prospective tenants still prefer the opportunity to see the property they're interested in, in person. It is a must for all involved, including our representatives, any existing residents and prospective tenants, to wear masks at all times. Social distancing is adhered to as well, with limited people permitted inside the properties at any one time.
For those avoiding any people-contact at all, we aim to include videos in all our online adverts and have had virtual tours, hosted by our representatives or existing tenants, arranged.
We aim to continue to service our property owners and prospective tenants alike to the best of our abilities, whatever their preferences may be, while remaining compliant and responsible. Check out the approximately 80 properties, listed on our website, currently available to let across the greater Cape Town area.
